The iPad from Apple is about ready to launch and while we've placed a note in our tech support section, I wanted to write this quick note so everyone would understand that you can't use the iPad to take our courses. It really boils down to this. The iPad does not support "flash" which is the language that 95% of all e-learning courses are designed in and the format that's used to encode around 75% of the videos on the web.

Some video sites have created workarounds, but that's very difficult for most e-learning courses because in part, the required tracking that must be done to satisfy course regulators. As a result, at this time we are not going to be able to support the iPad for viewing our courses. Our hope is that future updates to the iPhone and/or the iPad will support the current "flash" standard for videos/training on the web. We will also continue to monitor advances in software creation tools to allow us to provide content in a variety of formats while continuing to adhere to state and nationwide course approval standards.

FYI- Other upcoming tablets like the "Slate" from HP will support flash and may be used to view our courses.
